In addition... the product also includes for the first time updated "Landclass" data for the entire continental United States. Microsoft Flight Simulator uses landclass data to determine which scenery textures are placed over specific parts of the terrain. This will determine whether you see forests, various types of crop fields, or cities when flying over simulation scenery. By using higher resolution and more accurate landclass data in RealScene 4000... the detail of terrain dramatically improves. Placement of forest, fields, cities, and towns will look much more accurate and more truly represent the actual terrain over the continental USA. This data will also result in much more accurate night lighting of towns and cites... as the location of this data is much more accurately represented.

RealScene 2004 represents a huge jump in scenery accuracy and depiction... without having to invest in individual scenery products covering only small areas.

This product ships on a DVD data set and includes an automated installer for easy installation into Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002.
