The Go-Flight Aircraft cockpit Control System

A rack-mountable system of USB control modules for flight simulation. Build the ultimate aircraft simulation cockpit right on your desktop, quickly and easily!

The GF-T8 shown here is configured as an audio panel, and the GF-166 VRP is operating as COM1.  You can choose from over 250 cockpit control functions.

Ultimate control and great looks make a fully-loaded GF-AC rack a "must have" item for your home flight deck.
Two racks are even better than one!

High-quality metal thumbscrews solidly attach all of your GF-AC modules to the component rack.

Use two GF-AC mini racks side-by-side underneath your monitor to create an aircraft control panel. This configuration has 16 switches and full trim, gear and flaps control.

With a GF-45PM and a GF-P8 in the arrangement shown here, two GF-AC mini racks can be used to control the autopilot in all Microsoft Flight Simulator aircraft.

The Components

The GF-AC Cockpit Control System consists of the following components

  • GF-AC Full Height Module Rack

  • GF-AC  Mini Rack

  • GF-FDC Flight Deck Console

  • GF-MCP Auto-Pilot Module

  • GF-P8  8-Pushbutton Switch Module

  • GF-T8  8-Toggle Switch Module

  • GF-45PM Avionics Display Panel module

  • GF-166 Versatile Radio Panel module

  • GF-LGT Landing Gear and Trim Control Module

  • GF-TQ6 Throttle unit

  • GF-RP48 Rotary switch module

Each GF-AC control module includes a 2-meter USB cable, two metal thumbscrews, GFConfig software, and installation instructions.  The GF-AC component rack and all control module faceplates are metal.

Flexible

GF-AC modules can be mounted easily in any location, arranged in any order, either in a GoFlight rack or a custom panel that you construct.   Each GF-AC module is an individual USB device.

Need lots of switches?  Fill up a full height rack with GF-P8 and GF-T8 units, and you have 56 individual switches that can be assigned to over 300 different cockpit control functions.

How about a radio stack, or an autopilot?  The GF-45PM display panels can be configured as COMM, NAV and ADF radios, transponder, and autopilot.  When combined with a GF-P8 pushbutton module, you can designate GF-P8 buttons to selection multiple avionics functions on a single GF-45PM unit.
Affordable

No matter what your budget, you can get "on board" with the GF-AC right away.  Begin your system with a single GF-AC module, then add more as your budget allows.  Blank covers are available to fill in unused space in the module bay, so that your system always has that finished look.  Choose from either the full height module rack, or the mini rack, to house your GF-AC modules.

Expandable

The 14" tall module bay in the GF-AC full height  rack can accommodate up to seven 2" modules.  Each GF-AC control module includes high-quality metal thumbscrews that attach the module solidly to the rack, yet allow you to change the physical arrangement of modules quickly and easily.

When you run out of rack space, add more racks to create the ultimate flight deck.   The small footprint of the GF-AC racks make them easy to place on most computer desk tops.  Customize the racks by arranging the modules and using MagLabels to create left, right, and even overhead panels.

Powerful

GoFlight's GFConfig software is easy to install and a breeze to use.  It recognizes all your GoFlight hardware and makes it simple for you to select the functions you want in your simulated cockpit.  Drag-and-drop function labels and easy-to-recognize drop-down selections take the guesswork out of customizing your setup.

Comprehensive on-line help is included with the GFConfig software, describing all of the functions that you can assign to GF-AC modules for ultimate control for your simulator cockpit.

Easy Labeling and Re-Labeling of Controls

The GF-P8 and GF-T8 modules include GoFlight's new, innovative "MagLabels" magnetic labeling system.  Small rectangular indents in the GF-P8 and GF-T8 panels accommodate GoFlight's MagLabels to provide easy labeling and re-labeling of switches and indicators.

You can also create your own custom labels, using any inkjet printer and magnet sheet material available at office supply stores.  A template file is provided along with the GFConfig software to assist in creating custom labels.

Compatible with Popular Software

The GF-AC is compatible with:

  • Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002, 2000 & 98

  • Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 2

  • X-Plane from Laminar Research

  • Terminal Reality's Fly! II.

Other flight simulator programs will be supported in the near future.
